MUSIC Today, an
explosion was reported by Iran at one of their military installations 40 KM east of Tehran in the town of Shariar. It was
sabotage and shows the Iranian weakness for protection of its own facilities.
Also, the Mossad is to be credited in the last two years for up scaling Intel
operations in counter-terrorism while maintaining Intel of Iranian connections
with Hezbollah and Syria. This is a result of meluckha recruiting (better) katsas;
also, the yahalomim (diamond) unit working more efficiently with humant
(collection of info from different agents). Director Meir Dagan
is to be credited with much of the success. The bombing
of Syria’s North Korean nuclear reactor is a prize feather in his cap. Hopefully,
he will be able to build ethics in an organization that has lost respect with
many pro-Israeli factions in other countries … especially those who have
helped Mossad with NO equitable reciprocation, credit, or respect! Also, there
is some improvement in what were overt jealousies between Meluckha
(previously Tsomet), which has charge of active katsas AND Kaisarut
(formerly Tevel), which is the liaison arm. Many external
elements have helped Mossad because these elements love Israel and the Jewish
people; however, many Mossad agents and superiors … and some
leaders in AMAN … have not properly appreciated this affection. Hopefully,
Director Dagan will begin work on building ethics and better relations with
other foreign Intel agencies. MUSIC Iran has been divided
into 31 military districts in preparation for war with Israel and potentially
the USA. Each of the 31 military districts will be
governed by military law in time of attack. Check this out: 320,000 graves
have been dug. Iran says they are for any enemy soldiers who die on Iranian
soil while trying to attack Iran. Iranian General Baqerzadeh states, “We
don’t wish the families of enemy soldiers to experience what Americans had to
go through in the aftermath of the Vietnam War;” however, since the
graves are primarily in border regions, they are there for the Iranian
victims of an attack by Israel and/or USA. ISRAEL, YOU MUST
ATTACK IRAN NOW … BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE! There is a great danger of radioactivity and
nuclear fallout the longer Israel puts off an attack against Iran. Also, Iran will
have more opportunity to attack Israel … plus the threat of biological
terrorism and warfare … with
famine as the concomitant result. Biological terrorism and warfare is more
likely to be used ‑ and more threatening ‑ than conventional warfare. Their detection and prohibition is next to
impossible. The agents are easy to obtain and are inexpensive. Around 20
nations now either produce or have biological weapons capabilities. Government actions to prevent are
minimally funded and supported. The only protection is by speaking or
declaring the BLOOD of Messiah over you, your family, and your household.
Yeshua (Jesus) is God's Lamb sacrificed during Passover 2,000 years ago. The first Passover in Egypt was a picture of
the Messiah, the real Passover Lamb. MUSIC Famines ‑‑ Famine is not only the failure of food production but also the
failure of marketing systems to distribute the food. Wars, diseases, and
earthquakes can all contribute to both types of failure. People in increasing
numbers lose access to food. Excessive numbers of people die as a
result of famine. Also, many people die after the worst of the crisis as
infectious disease resulting from reduced food intake continues. Look what
Stalin did to the Ukraine. At one time, Stalin used an induced famine to
kill off 25,000 Ukrainians a day: that’s 1,000 an hour … 17 people per minute! Famine covers more
than food shortage and excessive food prices. It also causes a
major recession in the economy, which in turn affects employment and income.
Bio‑terrorism could at first be a greater threat against agriculture
than against citizens, but with the end result of famine. Smuggling, stealing, and black market
crime increase. People are forced to sell their key assets (jewelry, animals,
land). Wives are evicted and children sold. People leave their land, homes, and
communities. Death is the result of famine but breakdown of society is the
by‑product. Diseases ‑‑ Biological warfare is the deliberate spreading of disease
among humans, animals, and plants. Primary agents of bioweapons produce
many diseases that are hard to diagnose; they rarely occur naturally and
often appear like other diseases. A dirty bomb uses
conventional explosives to spread radioactive materials. Such a weapon is known as a "radiological dispersion
device." A "dirty bomb" may or may not kill many people, but can
create fear, panic, and huge financial losses. For example, a dirty bomb in
Tel Aviv could result in a loss of billions of dollars. MUSIC The "dirty
bomb" threat is real. Economic fallout and panic will
cause chaos. Cleanup costs will be astronomical! The radiological
materials have to be removed, as they cannot be washed or blown away. Residents,
fearing radiation exposure, will flee cities attacked and businesses will not
want to re‑open. For those local people who do not die, long
term effects will be disastrous. In weeks after an attack their immune
systems will decline because radiation kills bone marrow. On the long term
there will be a higher risk of cancer. Plus, cases of leukemia will
crop up within two years. Biological diseases resulting from
biowarfare, plus natural diseases such as AIDS, STD, ebola, echoli, smallpox,
and other NEW diseases can easily wipe out masses of the population.
Diseases, regardless of origin, are just one of the "signs" of the
final days which Yeshua foretold. Iran will definitely
have a part … a PROPHETICAL part … to play in the not
too far distant future when, aligned with Russia and other allies, she attacks
Israel. However, in that future battle, the LORD will wipe out Russia,
Iran, and their allies on the hills of Israel. BUT AS FOR NOW … in the meantime … Israel must take action against Iran herself,

Last week in Rome, Iran’s president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared that Israel would soon disappear – “with or without Iran’s help.” Not one voice was raised in protest from the world community! Tehran is attempting to
reach nuclear weapons capability by September or October this year. In this podcast Prince
Handley will tell you HOW to have complete victory over Iran, Israel. King Hezekiah was a man
who did what was good, right, and truthful. Everything he was involved in was
carried out with all his heart; and he prospered. “This Hezekiah did
throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and true before the
Lord his G-d. And in every work that he began in the service of the house of G-d,
in the law and in the commandment, to seek his G-d, he did it with all his
heart. So he prospered.” All people should live
a life that is right before G-d, but leaders especially have a greater
responsibility to do so. With that responsibility comes an attendant blessing.
When you are in the arena, you will be shot at. If you want to be used greatly
by G-d, then make your mind up ahead of time that you are NOT going to quit,
and you are NOT going to run away! If you quit, you can’t win. But if you don’t
quit, you’ll win! This doesn’t mean that
you will have the strength or wisdom in your self; but you are determined to
stand in faith, believing and drawing upon the resources of G-d. The Assyrians (confines
of modern day Syria and Iraq) were a cruel and treacherous military force. They
were a formidable foe, and resorted to terrible means of torture. If you will
consult my Show Notes of two years ago, I warned you Israeli soldier Gilead
Shalit would NOT be released, at least under the proposed arrangements then.
Neither will he be released under temporary or permanent truce arrangements
proposed now. You will have to go
deliver him, Israel, or make the enemy pay so severely they will never do it
again. Let them know (either before or after) WHY your attack is or has been
implemented! Israel, DO as David did at Ziklag! “And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next
day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which
rode upon camels, and fled.
And David recovered all
that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives.” Israel, stop cavorting
with terrorists and with an enemy who serves the false god, Allah … which is NO
G-d. Your enemies are laughing at you. Israel, stop leaning on the US, the EU,
the United Nations … and lean only on the G-d of Israel: the G-d of Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob! After Hezekiah’s deeds
of faithfulness, Sennacherib king of Assyria came and entered Judah. He
encamped against the fortified cities, thinking to win them over to himself.
When Hezekiah saw this, and realized that Sennacherib’s purpose was to make war
against Jerusalem, he gathered his leaders and commanders together and
encouraged them. “Be strong and
courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor
before all the multitude that is before him: for there are more with us than
with him. With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our G-d, to help
us and to fight our battles. And the people were strengthened by the words of
Hezekiah king of Judah.” Because of the
impending danger, King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah prayed and cried out to
heaven. Then the LORD sent an angel who cut down every mighty man of valor,
every leader, and every captain in the army of Assyria. So the King of Assyria
returned shamefaced to his own land, and was killed by his own family. “And
it came to pass on a certain night that the angel of the LORD went out, and killed
in the camp of the Assyrians 185,000 men; and when people arose early in the
morning, there were the corpses - all dead.” G-d still uses angels
today. Psalm 34:7 tells us “The angel of the LORD encamps all around those
who fear Him, and delivers them.” Surely
there are many times the angels deliver and protect us and we don’t even know
about it. But, in addition - like many of the promises of G-d - we need to KNOW
G-d’s Word so we can ACCESS God’s resources. We need to appropriate them by
faith. We need to BELIEVE and PRAY as Hezekiah did. At The University of Excellence, of which I am President, we teach our students that vision begins with a
purpose ... and that purpose is to SEE the dream become a reality! There are
five (5) basic steps in this process: 1. Dream; 2. Plan; 3. Preparation; 4. Logistics; and, 5. Action. In action - and
sometimes in the first four steps above - we engage the adversary as Hezekiah
did. We implement our plans and put in place those things and people we have
prepared, and that the Lord has assigned to us. Then we utilize the resources
within our command to take action. Gideon had some clay vessels and candles.
Moses had a rod. What is it that G-d has placed in your hand, Israel? What are those things
you will BELIEVE G-d to bring into your access? It is your duty to use your
faith. Faith is your servant. Many times it is the thing that is in our hand or
our heart that is our greatest resource. Are we turning the gifts of G-d away
through unbelief? Are we afraid to leave our comfort zone? Use your faith - it
is your DUTY to use it! I am reminded of a man
and his wife who won $1,000,000 USD. When the authorized bearers of the prize
tried to contact the couple, they were repeatedly turned away. The man and his
wife would not answer their phone calls, or respond to their letters. They
thought it was a joke. Finally, the man and his wife decided that they would at
least see what the communication was about. The bearers of the prize were
authorized one more time to attempt delivery to the man and his wife. They
responded at the last minute. How many times do we
not receive G-d’s MIRACLES because of unbelief, or because of taking things for
granted? We have the ability to DREAM and IMAGINE. We can establish a VISION
and believe G-d for its fulfillment. When was the last time you dreamed for G-d?
Imagine what your life and ministry would be like if the present hindrances
were removed. One of the great promises in the Holy Bible is found in Jeremiah
33:3. “Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty
things which you do not know.” In his book The
Weight of Glory, C. S. Lewis said “Our Lord finds our desires not too
strong, but too weak.” What can you IMAGINE or THINK? For what can you ASK God?
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or
think, according to the power that works in us.” (Ephesians 3:20, Brit
Chadasha) Once your dream is
starting to take form - that is, when it becomes a reality - your VALOR will be
tested: by G-d ... and by the enemy of your soul, the devil. You will have to
make up your mind ahead of time to be a champion, to be valiant. G-d is looking
for champions like the people of faith who went before us, who “Quenched the
violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made
strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.” (Hebrews 11:34, Brit Chadasha) As you move out with
the VISION, know that G-d has designed your VICTORY, but you have to have VALOR
and stand in faith, calling upon Him for strength, wisdom, and MIRACLES. One
thing that will help you is when you realize that G-d will use your enemy to
help promote you: just like He did Pharaoh. G-d hardened Pharaoh’s heart so
that the Lord would be SET APART in the eyes of the Egyptians. And so G-d will use the
reality of your vision so that He might be set apart in the eyes of people in
every nation, tribe, family, and language of the earth. (Torah: Exodus 9:13-16;
Brit Chadasha: Romans 9:17) Just as God used angelic ministry to help King
Hezekiah and his people, so God will use the angels to help you, if you will
PRAY and CRY OUT to Heaven like Hezekiah and Isaiah. The magicians could not
stand before Moses (Exodus 9:11), and neither will the enemy’s people stand
before you. There will be a
severance - a setting apart - for God’s servants and G-d’s people. There is a
difference for those anointed for service: not “haphazard” service, but service
anointed through prayer, fasting, listening, and obedience! The Lord makes a
difference between His people and the people of the enemy.
Read prayerfully the
following verses; they are G-d’s Word for you at this time: Exodus 8:23; Exodus
9:26; Exodus 11:7 The three most important things you can do to enlarge your
VISION and engage the enemy with VALOR are: 1. Sit at the feet of Yeshua; and, 2. Live holy. 3. Attack when
and how G-d tells you! Then your VICTORY will
be assured! THE WORLD LEADER WHO DECEIVES ISRAEL REVEALED

DESCRIPTION: The leader of the New world Order knows that Jerusalem is
the KEY to getting the Jews to sign a treaty of peace with the Palestinians and
the Arab nations in a COVENANT for seven years; this treaty will most likely
allow the Jews to build their temple on or near the Holy Mount. But then …
persecution! MUSIC Last week, Senator Barack Obama said, “Those
who threaten Israel, threaten us. I will bring an unshakeable commitment to
Israel’s security and guarantee Israel’s military strength so that it can
defend itself from any threat – from Gaza to Tehran.” NOTICE: I am NOT saying that Barack Obama is the
anti-Messiah. What I am saying is that the New World Order (or a new name it
will select) will choose a leader who will deceive Israel with words and make
it seemingly beneficial to Israel to sign a seven (7) year peace treaty. While Obama emphasized that Israel’s identity must be
preserved as “a Jewish state with secure, recognized and defensible borders and
that Jerusalem is its undivided capital,” Obama also stated that the
Palestinians need a state “that is contiguous.” "Israel's security is sacrosanct. It is
non-negotiable. The Palestinians need a state that is contiguous and cohesive
and that allows them to prosper. But any agreement with the Palestinian people
must preserve Israel's identity as a Jewish State, with secure, recognized and
defensible borders. Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel and it must
remain undivided," he declared. THEN … due to Arab backlash,
Obama did an “about face” concerning Jerusalem! A day later, Obama reversed his rhetoric, telling
reporters "Well, obviously it's going to be up to the parties to negotiate
a range of these issues. And Jerusalem will be part of those negotiations… As a
practical matter, it would be very difficult to execute [a policy of the
capital remaining undivided.]" THEN … PA Negotiator Qurei said
… During the weekend, Chief Palestinian negotiator Ahmed
Qurei said that if talks between Israel and the Palestinians fail, the
Palestinian Authority will return to a concept of “one state.” He said, "I
will tell them that we spent 30 years persuading Palestinians to accept a
two-state solution, and if we do not succeed in achieving it, we will return to
the idea of one state.” MUSIC NOTICE AGAIN: I am NOT saying that Barack Obama is the
anti-Messiah. What I am saying is that the New World Order (or a new name it
will select) will choose a leader who will deceive Israel with words and make
it seemingly beneficial to Israel to sign a seven (7) year peace treaty. The second appearing of Messiah to Planet Earth will be
the most earth shaking event ever to happen on this planet. The whole world
will be tuned in to His power and glory. A few years previous to this event,
the world dictator ... the anti-Messiah or false-Messiah, the anti-Christ ...
will arise from the 10 nation confederacy that will be formed from the European
Union (EU) or the Confederacy of Arab Nations, or a combination of them both.
This coming world dictator, the anti-Messiah, will be the one who implements
the one world government for the New World Order. MUSIC A few months previous to the second appearance of Messiah
to earth there will be millions of people killed in fighting and terrorism.
Jerusalem will be under attack, with plunder happening from house to house,
women being raped, and half the city of Jerusalem going into captivity. [Zechariah
14:2] It will be a time of trouble worse than the Nazi holocaust. [Jeremiah
30:5-6] The Jews will actually start experiencing extreme persecution about 42
months AFTER the New World Order (NOW) dictator takes over control and about 42
months BEFORE Messiah returns. The 10 nation confederacy that will be comprised of
governments in both Europe and the Middle East (including North East Africa) will
ultimately have the political clout to control the Mediterranean. Some of these
10 countries may be from Western Asia and North Africa, but most of them will
probably be from Europe. The final leader of this confederacy will overthrow
three (3) of the 10 nations by a political, military and governmental takeover.
Today, in addition to disease and famine issues, the
leaders of the dominant nations are concerned with three (3) primary factors: 1. Attaining peace among nations and ethnic groups; 2. Guaranteeing the flow of oil; and, 3. Stopping terrorism and conflict in the Middle East
(especially between Israel and the Palestinians). The CHIEF
bargaining factor will be the city of Jerusalem! What you should be watching for is: Leadership ... a
leader ... who will seemingly have the solution for the Israeli / Palestinian
conflict. This leader, appointed by the NWO will bring temporary peace and will
convince the Jews to sign a seven (7) year treaty. In exchange for agreeing to
this treaty negotiation, Israel will be allowed to rebuild her Temple on the
Temple Mount. Then, after three and one half years (42 months) the NOW
leader (the false Messiah) will do just what Antiochus Epiphanes did, who
desecrated the Jewish Temple at the time of the Maccabean revolt. [Daniel
9:24-27 and Daniel 11:31]. MUSIC This prophecy in Daniel probably had a double fulfillment
in both Antiochus Epiphanes and the anti-Messiah. Yeshua (Jesus) Himself gave validation to Daniel’s
prophecy in Mattiyahu (Matthew) 24:15 of the Brit Chadasha (the New Covenant,
or Testament): "Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation,
spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, then let those who
are in Judea flee into the mountains ... for there will be great tribulation,
such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor
shall ever be." (Matthew 24:15-31) As mentioned above, Jerusalem will be under attack. This
will happen probably after the "one world" system starts falling
apart. The reason being that the anti-Messiah ... the New World Order dictator
... needs to maintain some semblance of beneficence to the Jews and Israel for
a while after his takeover. Remember ... the KEY to getting the Jews to sign a
treaty of peace with the Palestinians and the Arab nations is a COVENANT for
seven years, which will most likely allow the Jews to build their temple on or
near the Holy Mount. In the middle of the seven years, 42 months BEFORE Messiah
returns to earth to establish His kingdom, the covenant is broken by the false
messiah, the world dictator, and the temple is desecrated like Daniel and Jesus

HOW SYRIA, RUSSIA & IRAN CAN ATTACK ISRAEL NOW

DESCRIPTION: Specific details of HOW God draws Russia and Iran, including their allies, to attack Israel ... and WHY Israel might be attacked at this very present time by Syria. I back them up with research. A war between Israel and probably ALL of the Middle East will happen, not just bordering Arab states like Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. Israel will CONTROL the East Bank of Jordan ... also, the Arab nations of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, and others. In the last podcast we discussed how God draws Russia and Iran to attack Israel ... and WHY this battle will be different than the Battle of Armageddon. We discussed that Israel will be positioned into a force of prosperity and power: an international "sign" to the nations! You might wonder HOW ths will happen if you’ve been keeping up with the news this week. PM Olmert is acting against national interest and is positioning Israel in great danger. The Syrian foreign minister has said that PM Olmert agreed to cede the entire Golan and pull back to the pre-1967 war lines. This is land that was not only WON by the blood of Israelis ... but was PROMISED by G-d to Israelis! Olmert is NOT of sufficient mental freedom at this time, due to his own corruption scandal to negotiate anything of importance in Israel’s name ... especially a peace treaty with enemies and liars (who will never keep a treaty). Due to political realignment in Lebanon, Hizballah’s armed militia now has the right to stockpile their own weapons armory. Plus, Syria is not so much worried about Israel’s ground movements or armor. Syria is now trying to purchase missile, air and navy weapons to gain strategic superiority over Israel: Iskander-E missiles, MigG29SMT fighter-bombers and Amur-class submarines. Syria and Iran both support these two: Hizbullah and Hamas. But ... I have GOOD NEWS for you. A war between Israel and probably ALL of the Middle East will happen, not just bordering Arab states like Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. In Isaiah Chapter 11, verses 12-16 we read a description of a war that will happen BEFORE Messiah comes to earth again (the second time). The first 11 verses tell us about Messiah's return and his rule of peace on earth. Verses 12-16 cannot happen during this time because Messiah's reign is characterized by peace. Another distinctive feature of the prophecy in verses 12-16 is that the war therein described has not happened historically This position of prosperity and power will be part of the "hook" in the jaw that God uses to draw the powers from the north (Russian and her allies) to wage war against Israel. Israel will "fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines (the Palestinians) to the west". In context Israel will strike against Egypt and Iraq (Assyria) and "plunder the people of the East". Israel will CONTROL these nations, and evidently, their WEALTH as a result of the plundering. Lexicographically, the "people of the East" include the Arab nations of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, and others. It is very evident here (in this passage) that Israel will CONTROL the East Bank of Jordan (Ammon, Moab, and Edom). This happened in Joshua's time and has NOT happened SINCE the days of Isaiah. This is a future prophecy that WILL happen! The extreme wealth that Israel will control will be one of the things G-d uses to draw the northern confederacy described in Ezekiel. (See the TANACH: Ezekiel 38:4-5, 39:2 and Ezekiel 38:10-12.) Notice … it is G-d that DRAWS the enemy from the north (Russia, and her allies: Iran and others. … He puts "hooks in their jaws and leads them out with their armies." Also, any of the following reasons God might use to draw the northern power(s) at this present time: Israel's present wealth (its people); Israel's scientific superiority; Israel's strategic geo-military positioning; Israel's previous victories over Islamic / Arabic factions. 1. ISRAEL'S PRESENT WEALTH (ITS PEOPLE). In addition to the FUTURE WEALTH that Israel will control, as I described previously, there is also a present wealth of potential in the people of Israel. The following interview of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu by The Jerusalem Post was distributed by Netanyahu's office on or about Monday May 4th, 1998. Q: "Will there ever be another decade in which a million Jews immigrate to Israel?" A: "It is possible, and I would like to see it come from the West. Israel has just achieved the per capita income of Western Europe, and has more scientists, technicians, technologists - relative to the size of the population - than any other country. This is potentially the source of great wealth, because wealth in the 21st century will be created by conceptual products. Look at the wealthiest man in the world today, Bill Gates. Nobody can count his billions. But what we do know is how much he had 10 years ago: close to zero. [Editor’s note: now 20 years]. This is the greatest multiplication of wealth in history. And what is true of individuals is true of nations, too. Those nations will thrive that have the ability to manipulate knowledge in every field of human endeavor, and I believe that we are very fortunate to have that kind of advantage. Therefore I think that Israel could - fasten your seat belts - be a very wealthy country, and I think that as the standard of living rises, it will begin to attract Jews from the West. It already is attracting Jews from parts of Great Britain that have a lower per capita income than Israel does. I believe it will attract many Jews from South America, and many remaining Jews in Russia who are concentrated in the Moscow area, and who are doing better than they did before, but will do even better here. And I believe that we will see in the next 10 years a much larger immigration of Jews from North America. Clearly, I would like to see all that immigration motivated first and foremost by Zionist ideals. But I also know that the span of this immigration would increase significantly if Israel is transformed, as we are rapidly transforming, into a liberal, free-market economy and society." 2. ISRAEL'S SCIENTIFIC SUPERIORITY Israel has more scientists per capita than Switzerland. 3. ISRAEL'S STRATEGIC GEO-MILITARY POSITIONING When I was younger I enjoyed playing the game of "Risk". It is a simulated military game where each opponent utilizes military forces in different geographical confines, and then plans strategy from these bases, as well as from any new conquered positions. I learned after several games that whenever I controlled Israel I always won! Israel is located at a KEY geo-military position. Geographically, it is the land hub of Europe, the Near East, the Far East, the Middle East, and Africa. It is also the place where Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel, will return to earth at His Second Appearance. 4. ISRAEL'S PREVIOUS VICTORIES OVER ISLAMIC / ARABIC FACTIONS In the 1967 "Six Day War" (when Israel was attacked) the victories were of Biblical proportions (and, over the same general enemy). By the end of the war, Israel had conquered enough territory to more than triple the size of the area it controlled, from 8,000 to 26,000 square miles. The victory enabled Israel to unify Jerusalem (See footnote 1). Israeli forces had also captured the Sinai, Golan Heights (See footnote 2), Gaza Strip (See footnote 3) and West Bank (See footnote 4). Israel now ruled more than three-quarters of a million Palestinians, most of whom were hostile to the government. Nevertheless, more than 9,000 Palestinian families were reunited in 1967. Ultimately, more than 60,000 Palestinians were allowed to return (See footnote 5). In the 1973 Yom Kippur War the Jews were attacked on their religious holy day, the Day of Atonement, while fasting. Egypt and Syria launched the Yom Kippur War (See footnote 6) in a coordinated attack that confronted the IAF with its harshest challenge to date. Denied permission for a pre-emptive strike, IAF fighters scrambled off the runways in defense of Israel's skies. They dumped their bombs into the sea ... bombs that might have been able to change the course of the war even before it began. The desperate situation on both fronts did not leave the IAF with the time required to neutralize the enemy's surface-to-air missile (SAM) threats. Indeed, the majority of the IAF's war losses occurred above the heavily defended front lines, while supporting ground forces during the first few days of fighting. Marshaling its forces, the IAF struck back at its ground-based adversary. Israeli fighters and Arab missile sites engaged in mutual bloodletting, like prize fighters slugging it out toe-to-toe. In one operation alone, the IAF lost 6 planes while destroying only one Syrian SAM. On the Western front the IAF destroyed 32 Egyptian SAM sites and damaged 11 more. Phantoms (See footnote 7) brought the war home to the Syrian capital, striking Damascus and other strategic targets. Israel fighters clawed their way toward air superiority, bombing Syrian and Egyptian airfields which, unlike in '67, were now hardened against attack. Most enemy aircraft survived these attacks but IAF fighters still destroyed more than 450 enemy planes, mostly in dogfights. In fact, the IAF's air combat (won-loss) record for 1973 was twice as good as it had been during the 1967 Six Day War (See footnote 8). As a result, the enemy had to concentrate his sorties in defense of his own backyard. Of the few enemy planes which attacked inside Israel, not one succeeded in striking and returning (See footnote 9)! ATTENTION: AGAIN … I AM NOT SAYING THIS WILL HAPPEN … BUT YOU NEED TO REALIZE THAT THE BATTLE(S) DESCRIBED IN EZEKIEL CHAPTERS 38 AND 39 COULD HAPPEN RIGHT NOW … AT THIS TIME! NO OTHER PROPHECIES NEED TO BE FULFILLED FOR THIS TO HAPPEN!! COMMENTARY: After Moshe had spent many weeks in the presence of G-d, he came down to the camp and found the people worshiping the golden calf. (Torah, Exodus Chapter 32) In the Torah, Exodus Chapters 32 and 33 we read of the account when Moshe returned to the LORD in the mount to intercede for the children of Israel after they had partied and worshiped the golden calf. Then Moses went back up to be with G-d for 40 days and nights, fasting, writing upon the tables the Covenant, the Ten Commandments. During this time he interceded with G-d for four (4) things: 1. That G-d would spare the children of Israel, and not destroy them. 2. That G-d would forgive the children of Israel their sin and idolatry. 3. That G-d would go before them with His presence on their journey. 4. That G-d would allow Moses the privilege of seeing His glory. As a result of Moshe’s intercession, the LORD turned from His fierce wrath which he had determined to do to the children of Israel, and He gave Moshe a promise. The LORD said “ ... I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation ...” (Exodus 34:10). The Hebrew word here used for “marvels” is “pala.” It is a primitive root which means “miracles ... real miracles ... wonderful acts.” What Israel needs is a leader who will seek after the face of G-d: one who pays the price to know the will of G-d for Israel at each turn. A man or woman (like Deborah) that will earn the respect of the Israelis. Israel needs a selfless (SELF LESS) leader who will pray and fast to break the powers of darkness that would destroy Israel at this time. There are many end time prophecies that pertain to Israel ... I mentioned some today (Ezekiel 38 and 39, Isaiah 11:12-16); however, in any generation there are people ... called of G-d ... who are to pray, fast, and work hand-in-hand with God for the salvation of Israel.
